Ruda Cohen & Associates currently offers three multi-day training courses. Each program is offered exclusively for employees of our client organizations. We can come to your facility or a scheduled off-site location to conduct the programs.

The Personal Impact Program (PIP): The PIP is a four-day program designed to give participants the knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage their impact.  Through extensive surveys, personal feedback and thought-provoking exercises, participants gain deeper insight into themselves and how others perceive them.  They also gain a broader awareness of the options available to them for responding to different workplace situations.  By opening themselves to feedback and correctly applying the behavioral tools learned in the course, participants experience genuine change in their approach to working with others.  Specific learning objectives of the course include:

  • Group Problem Solving
  • Communication and Listening Skills
  • Handling Conflict

The PIP is designed for a general audience.  The lessons taught are fundamental to productive working relationships and anyone from first-line supervisors to top executives can benefit.

The STAR Leadership Program: The STAR introduces experienced executives to the “softer” side of leadership.  Specifically, it addresses the finer points of developing a compelling vision for the organization and then turning that vision into a reality.  Critical skills such as conceptual thinking, creativity and intuition are enhanced through targeted instruction and engaging group exercises.  The objective is for participants to leave the course with specific ideas for where to take their organizations and concrete plans for making that happen.  Specific learning objectives of the four day program include:

  • Identifying a vision

  • Communicating a vision to others

  • Persuasion skills

  • Implementing change

  • Coaching skills

The STAR program is designed for an audience of top managers and executives responsible for shaping and guiding organizational growth.  The program is also helpful for “high potential” or “fast-track” employees who will be the organization’s future leaders.

The Negotiation Skills Program: Negotiation is both an art and a science.  This course will take you deeper into the nuances of successful negotiation and features material currently taught in top MBA programs.  Negotiations can take on many forms, so the course involves participants in a variety of simulations that strengthen their negotiation skills in different settings.  Extensive feedback is also provided by the instructor and fellow participants.  The knowledge, insight and skills gained from this course can be immediately applied to real-world negotiations.  Specific learning objectives of this three day program include:

  • Developing a strategic plan for negotiations

  • Providing a framework for analyzing negotiations

  • Strengthening confidence in resolving disputes

  • Learning to negotiate beneficial outcomes

  • Improving understanding of your negotiation counterparts

The Negotiation Skills program has a broad applicability and allows individuals in various occupational roles to develop valuable skills.  Employees in sales, operations, purchasing, human resources and governmental affairs are among those who should find this course interesting and beneficial.

In addition to the above programs, Ruda Cohen and Associates provides a variety of half-day and day long programs on topics such as:
