Strategic Succession Planning

At Ruda Cohen and Associates we have developed a unique new approach to succession planning.  We work with organizations to identify potential high performers, those people who have the capacity and desire to excel, and then help you to coach those people through the ranks.

First, we ask you to develop a “long” list of top achievers.  All those who are performing above expectations can be included.  Next, we interview and evaluate these individuals.  We develop impressions about their strengths and areas for development and assess their level of commitment to their own careers.  Often we will utilize instruments, such as a 360° assessment, to obtain a full and rich portrait of the person.  We develop a profile which states how prepared an individual is in a variety of necessary management and leadership attributes.  Finally, we sit down with you and with the individual and explain our results in detail.  In collaboration with you and your top performer we chart a path to success, focusing on practical ways to leverage their strengths and develop in needed areas.  Further, we help you understand how to motivate and coach your top performers to even greater achievement.
